Social Service reopened on June 19, 2020, with the same hours of 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Masks are required.
What we do:
The Saint Vincent de Paul Social Services Office of Grants Pass serves residents of Josephine County, as well as transient people who are in need of assistance.
Our door is open to all. We operate entirely with volunteers, and are open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 AM until 2 PM (open during lunch hour also).
Our phone number is (541) 479-0926. Due to limited staffing, we are currently unable to return phone messages. Please call during the listed business hours to speak with one of our volunteers.
We provide assistance to the degree that we have funds available in the following areas:
How do I get Help?
Come to our office located 132 Southeast 'H' Street in Grants Pass during our listed hours of operation. The office will be closed on the following holidays:
People are served in the order in which they arrive.
Bring your identification and any relevant document, such as utility bills, shut-off notices, prescriptions, etc.
We are dedicated to offering our brothers and sisters a helping hand, a second chance, or an opportunity to get back on their feet again. We cannot offer on-going financial assistance, but often can provide counseling and helpful referrals.
Saint Vincent de Paul currently has no shelter facility in Grants Pass. We refer people to the Gospel Rescue Mission, or to the Saint Vincent de Paul Family Shelter in Medford.
An essential part of our work is to provide aid while maintaining the confidentiality and dignity of those who are served. Please visit our office if you are in need to help. We will do our best to provide assistance, counseling, and referrals.

- Prescription Medications (non-narcotic only).
- Sleeping Bags and Tents (when available).

- Other assistance based on evaluation by our volunteers.
